The Institute for Cancer Genetics and Informatics merges medicine, computer science and information technologies to contribute to cancer research and communication. With around 80 employees in pathology, biomedicine, technology and IT-development, ICGI demonstrates a broad range of expertise in the search for new tools within cancer research.
We perform research within biomedicine and informatics to develop and establish new prognostic and diagnostic methods. Our basic research strategy focuses on nucleomics, our innovation strategy focuses on microscopy based image analysis, and our overall goal is to contribute towards improved cancer treatment.
